European approach for a maximum CO2 budget for buildings

CO₂ impact of a building is not only the CO₂ emissions released during use, also the CO₂ emissions released during construction and maintenance must be included. #BuildingLife is working with industry leaders and European and national policy makers to embed this so-called Whole Carbon Approach into policy and legislation in Europe to make the built environment completely CO₂free.

DGBC is working with the World Green Building Council (WGBC) and several other European Green Building Councils on the #BuildingLife project over the next two years.
